I was born and raised in Moultrie, Georgia. After obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia in 1999, I obtained my Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia in 2002. I was admitted to the Georgia Bar that same year and have focused my practice on civil injury cases and criminal defense cases. For almost 18 years, I have handled cases involving personal injury, auto accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, drunk driver accidents, and wrongful death. These cases resolved either through settlements or trials, with several of these cases resolving for $500,000.00 or more and one resolving just prior to trial for 1.2 million dollars in a rural county. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time outdoors with my family. My wife, Janna, and I reside in Thomasville, GA with our two children and our labrador retriever, Molly.
